Launching of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and the United Nations Correspondants Association (UNCA) Global Prize for best coverage of climate change issues

The Permanent Representative of the Principality of Monaco to the United Nations, H.E. Ambassador Gilles Noghès, has announced today, with the President of the Prince Albert II Foundation - USA, Mr. John B. Kelly III and the President of the United Nations Correspondents Association, Mr. Giampaolo Pioli, the Launching of The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and the United Nations Correspondants Association Global Prize for best coverage of climate change issues.
This Prize of 10.000 Euros, the first in that field, will be awarded by the Secretary General of the United Nations next October 30th, H.E. Ban Ki-moon, during the UNCA Gala Diner at the UN Headquarters. It will reward the best coverage, in all media.
Deadline for entries is August 31st, 2009.
